1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Cartiva, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
2. User Accounts
You must create an account to buy or sell on Cartiva. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers agree to provide accurate shipping information, pay for purchases in full, and confirm delivery within 7 days of receiving goods. Failure to confirm delivery will result in automatic payment release to the seller after 7 days.
4. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers must provide accurate product descriptions, ship orders within the stated timeframe, and respond to buyer inquiries within 24 hours. Sellers are responsible for the quality and authenticity of their products.
5. Escrow System
All payments are processed through our escrow system. Funds are held until the buyer confirms delivery or 7 days pass after the expected delivery date. The platform charges a 3% commission on all transactions.
6. Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited on Cartiva: illegal goods, counterfeit products, weapons, hazardous materials, and any items that violate applicable laws or regulations.
7. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes between buyers and sellers, Cartiva will mediate and make a final decision based on evidence provided by both parties. Our decision is final and binding.
8. Platform Commission
Cartiva charges a platform fee of 3% on all completed transactions. This fee covers payment processing, escrow services, and platform maintenance.
9. Limitation of Liability
Cartiva is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific transaction in dispute.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
